Opportunity may come knocking

I was called into a meeting with my area manager the other day. He let me know that there is a possibility of an opportunity if I could make myself fully available for 7 weeks. I said I could. It will be a bit hard on my family, but I can make it work. I’d like to get excited about this possibility except I am afraid to do so since disappoinment is likely.
